Course Description: |

Students will learn the basic foundation of how a PlantPAx project is created, and how to troubleshoot HMI objects by tracing ladder logic. |
|
|
Prerequisites: |
|
Students must have previously attended ControlLogix Level 2, and FactoryTalk View courses (or have equivalent experience). |

Course Objectives: |
|
- Create a basic PlantPAx project
- Import ControlLogix Add-On instructions
- Add process objects to the HMI display
- Troubleshoot objects in an existing project at your facility
- Trace alarm triggers

- Introduction and Pre-Test
- ControlLogix Review
- Import PlantPAx components into the HMI project
- Configure HMI Security
- Import required Add-On instructions into a ControlLogix project
- Set up basic objects such as P_Din and P_Dout
- Basic Troubleshooting Lab
- Set up more advanced objects such as P_Motor, P_ValveMO, and P_ValveC
- Advanced Troubleshooting Lab
- Configure Alarms
- Deploy a project
