Course Description: This course covers advanced PlantPAx objects. Students will learn to use pre-defined PlantPAx templates, and work with advanced PlantPAx objects.
Prerequisites: Students should have previously attended the PlantPAx Level 1 course, and are comfortable working with FactoryTalk View and RSLogix / Studio 5000.
Course Objectives:
  • Use PlantPAx Templates
  • Set up and troubleshoot Advanced Objects
  • Import Alarms from Studio 5000
  • Create Global Objects
  • Troubleshoot projects using advanced instructions
  • Tune controllers such as Deadband and PID

    Thursday

    • Deadband Controller (P_DBC)
    • PID Controller (P_PIDE)
    • Exporting and Importing Alarms from Studio 5000
    • Post Test and Evaluations
