Software Used: Visual Basic 6.0 on a Windows XP (SP2) system
Course Description: Students who attend this course will learn how to start a new visual basic project and work with objects, variables, and commands. This course can be used to extract data directly from a PLC using Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE). This data can then be manipulated, and written to a database or web server.
Prerequisites: Students who attend must be comfortable working in a windows based environment. This is a class for beginners, so no previous programming experience is required.
